The 1975 Part III.

Hey you :)

Oh well... this is kind of an addition to my latest Berlin post, because this was the most exciting and actually best part of the trip. I went to a the 1975 gig (for the third time now) and I was sooooo happy, because we got the tickets like 10 months earlier and the date had finally come.

The show was absolutely insane, it was Matty's and my friend's birthday party as well, which made it so special!! Plus I was very excited to see The Japanese House, because I really like their music and it was just a support group I enjoyed.

I think that you should take a look at the pictures and you'll understand my enthusiasm (...actually I think that you'll understand it only if you are a the 1975 fan as well):

THE RECTANGLES

This last picture turns out to be my favourite of all the pictures I took this evening, because you can see all four boys, and I love the way the crowd looks like. Oh and these lights. It really was the best of all three shows I got to see, the performance was fantastic, except that the red lights during "Sex" and my lovely Laura were missing :(

BERLIN haul part 3.

Hey you :) (I kind of like that introduction, I think I'll stick with that for a while)

First of all, I haven't been posting for the last three weeks, because I've been in Bosnia, and didn't find any time for writing posts.  Also I said, that I wouldn't set myself under pressure and post weekly, so I was kind of okay with it. Nevertheless here's the third part of my Berlin haul! :)

Enjoy :)

I spent quite a lot of money for stationary stuff in the Muji store. The first thing is this box for my pencils, pens, scissors, etc... I put it on my desk and think that it just looks super cool!

Second thing is another box, but this time for my lipsticks. It's perfect for the amount of lipsticks I own right now (...which means that I shouldn't buy any more) and it's super practical. You can open up the top, or just pull out the compartments.

Then I got a few notebooks, liners and a calendar. I know, that it's quite late in the year to get a calendar, but it was on sale and it's just super cool!! I love the minimalistic design of it, which practically sold it to me. Just take a look at it.

And this was actually it. Have a beautiful week.

Love, Amina x

BERLIN haul part 2.

Hey you :)

In today's part of the haul, I'll show you the few clothing items I got during my week in Berlin.

These stripy pants are probably my favourite thing I got. They're from Zara, and I just thought that they're something different, but nevertheless wearable (even in the more conservative part of Germany 😋). I'm planning on wearing them with a loose dark blue top and either with Birkenstocks, or a pair of black sandals I got from H&M.

Well.. I got myself this t-shirt, it's actually menswear, but I loved the pattern of it. It's from Muji, and designed by Yayoi Kusama. Just a cool everyday shirt.

Oh and this jumper! I. LOVE. IT. This is probably the most comfortable jumper I ever owned. I got in a Monki store, for about 15€ I think? Pretty affordable, I'd say.

That's it! See you soon,
Amina x.

BERLIN haul part 1.

Hey you :)

Todays post is an accessory haul, with the things I got in Berlin. There will be two more parts (clothes & stationary/Muji), because I'd rather do three smaller ones, instead of a huge one.
Without further ado, here you go.

I got these lovely Moschino glasses in a TK Maxx store for only 30€. The shape reminds me of a butterfly, and even though they're red (I usually don't wear that much colour), I instantly liked them. I just feel like Moschino and Love Moschino are my brands, I love everything out of their collections.

Then I got these glasses, from Warehouse for about 20€. My friend ordered a bunch of glasses over on asos to try them on, and the end she didn't get any, but her mom, boyfriend and I got some. :P These are just the perfect "every-day-glasses", because of the neutral colours and shape.

Of corse I couldn't do it without getting a bag, but just look at the backpack. It's beautiful. I got it at Urban Outfitters for about 50€ and just found out, you can get it in sale for only 40€. I love it.

Oh yes, I got another pair of sneakers. These are the Adidas superstars, they're a bit different because of the pattern, but they look pretty good with an all black outfit 😏 I bought them in an outlet store for 60€, which is a good deal for superstars.

Hope you liked this part of the haul, the next two parts will follow soon, stay tuned :)

go to lipcolours

Hello.

Today's post is about my "go to lipcolours", which I use on a daily basis. They're pretty basic, nude and pink tones, you can wear always.

I'll start off with a lipstick, which is a REVLON colorburst matte balm in "elusive" (no. 205). I got this one for the first time in Strasbourg, and I absolutely love it. I like the formula of the product, it's very smooth and moisturizes the lips at the same time. You should definitely try that one out.

The next one is the Maybelline Colorsensational in "pink fling" (no. 207). It's a beautiful, light, kind of pinky shade. It applies very smoothly and stays for a really long time. I just recently got this, and used it pretty much every day. Big like!!

On to one of the classic lip glosses, the NYX butter gloss in "tiramisu" (no. 07). I usually hate lip glosses, but I feel like the butter gloss is the only one I do like to use. The colour is neutral, a few shades darker than my lips are, but not to shiny or anything to bother me. Love it.

After I've discovered the butter gloss, I actually found an other lip gloss that works for me! It's the stila "stay all day® vinyl lip gloss" in "nude vinyl" (no. 06). As the name already says, it stays all day. I wouldn't say, that the glossy feeling stays all day, but the colour, which is the important thing, isn't it? It's really more of a lipstick, than a lip gloss, which is brilliant. Give it a go!

instagram // snapchat OOTDs

Hello there,

as I already said, I wanted to share my outfits, which I like to post on Instagram or snapchat, with you.

1. The grey blazer...

...combined with a Zara Tee, a H&M girlfriend jeans, and my blue Nike roshe runs.

...and my fav Nike Batik T-Shirt, black skinnies form Zara, and my black Valentino Bag.

...with my "New Classic" ripped T-Shirt from Zara, black skinnies (I guess the Zara ones again) and a messy background (sorry 😅😁).

...to my Replay dress / tee, I got from the menswear section, black H&M tights, black H&M platform boots, and a Betty Barclay backpack.

...and the Blazer is from a brand called "Glamorous".

2. All black everything

This is like my everyday look, because it's the one, I feel the most comfortable in. A black Zara TRF T-Shirt, Levi's Belt, and Zara or Levi's Skinnies.

...this is the same look basically, except, that I'm wearing a black cardigan from Gerry Weber, and my H&M platform booties.

This one is another variation of the black basic look, my bomber jacket from Vila, my Valentino bag and my rose-gold Ray Bans to add a bit of colour.

I got this dress just the other day, it's from only, a grey turtleneck dress, with a cutout on the back. I'm also wearing tights and a statement necklace from h&m.

3. Colourful

Sometimes, I do wear colourful things! But, there's a touch of black in each one of them.
This one is still pretty dark...same H&M shoes, black skinnies and a blouse from Gerry Weber.

This one was taken on the same day, a bit earlier, with more colour. That's also a blouse from Gerry Weber.

These are again the H&M girlfriend jeans, with a black tee (H&M I think?), and this gorgeous bomber jacket from Mango! I love it, especially because you can turn it the other way round, and wear it in two different ways.

the neighbourhood // mothxr

Hello there.

This post's about how I experienced the The Neighborhood concert in Zurich (08.03.2016).
I was really really excited to finally see Jesse Rutherford in person, because he's one of my man crushes (and soo freaking hot 🔥🔥🔥).

First of all, I couldn't believe my eyes, as I saw the supporting act going up on stage. The band's called "Mothxr" (you just pronounce it as the word mother), and the lead singer is Penn Badgley, which you may know as Dan Humphrey from Gossip Girl. But it wasn't only the fact, that I didn't know, that Penn Badgley has a band, but I kind of expected a woman? The day before we went to the concert, I 'looked' the band up, saw the CD cover with a woman on it, so I just thought that she's the singer of the band and I didn't expect it to be only men on the stage. (Which is completely stupid and illogical, but I didn't think of it anymore.) So it took me a few minutes to realize what's going on, but as I finally pulled myself together again, I just enjoyed it. The band's really good, and I love their music, so I bought the album right after the whole concert was over. I also got to meet them afterwards, took some pictures and got my CD signed.
They we're really lovely and I'll have to see them live again, as I know (some) lyrics now.

I was really happy in the moment I saw the neighbourhood coming up on stage, it was a dream of mine to see them live for ages!!
We were lucky enough to get in the forth or fifth row, so we were pretty close to the stage (and to Jesse (I nearly got to touch his hand lol)). His voice is just amazing! Even though I didn't know all of the lyrics, it was just fun to dance and to listen to them. I have to say, the crowd was really into it, which made me feel a bit bad, because of the missing lyrics in my head, but all in all, it was a good experience. BUT.... I also felt like Jesse wasn't really having fun, he kind of just stood in front of us, sang his songs and he hasn't done anything with the crowd. I mean, he didn't even talked to us, except maybe once or twice to say "thank you" after a finished song... In the end he sang "R.I.P. 2 my youth", where he did interact a bit with us, and it was for sure the best part of the concert, but as soon as he finished, he left the stage. That was it. I was a bit disappointed... but luckily the Mothxr boys were so nice, that I do remember this night as really special.
